The More The Merrier - Mean Well's New Additions

Mean Well has recently unveiled a few new series as a result of the extremely popular EDR-75 and NDR-75 series. The popularity of the EDR-75 and NRD-75 has encouraged Mean Well to broaden their Slim Line DIN Rail power supply range.

The new series are: EDR-120, NDR-120 and EDR-150 . At this stage only the EDR-120 and NDR-120 series offer Mean Well's standard output, such as 12 VDC, 24 VDC and 48 VDC. The EDR-150 is currently only available with 24 VDC output, but it offers the user the ability to adjust the power capacity up to 156 W

Unlike other power supply series that we have seen from Mean Well, these series don't come with a fan. The EDR-120 & EDR-150 , series have an operating temperature range of -20℃ to +60℃, whereas the NDR-120 series has an operating temperature range of -20℃ to +70℃.

It wouldn't be a Mean Well power supply if it doesn't come with all the short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature protection. These new series have also been tested to comply to UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE safely standards as well as meeting the heavy industry grade EMS standard, EN61000-6-2. All units are sold with C-tick.

These new additions to the EDR and NDR series are perfect for applications such as industrial control systems, factory automation, motor and servo drives, etc where you need a compact, reliable, low cost power supply.

Please note: these will be available for sale on the 18/10/2014. Finding it hard to contain yourself 'til then? Contact Us to place a preorder for these and be amongst the first few to get your hands on these slimming power houses.
