Ocean Controls - Australian Distributor for Teracom

Ocean Controls has become the Australian distributors for Teracom. Teracom are manufacturers of a range of ethernet controllers, 1-wire sensors and RFID devices

Teracom's range of ethernet devices gives you the possibility for remote monitoring and control of almost all around you – temperature, humidity, voltages, current, gases concentration, air pressure etc. All you need is the Cloud, doesn’t matter what kind – Ethernet, mobile network or Wi-Fi.

Ethernet Controllers

The TCW122B-RR is an Ethernet based I/O module that has two digital inputs and two relay outputs. Two units can be paired in order to seamlessly send digital IO data to the other paired device over the . So a switch connected to a digital input on one unit can turn on the relay on the other unit.


The TCW220 is an Ethernet control unit and datalogger. It features 2 digital inputs, 2 relay outputs, 2 analogue inputs and a 1-Wire interface for up to 8 x 1-Wire sensors. The TCW220 has built-in memory and can log up to 36 days worth of data which can be periodically uploaded to a dedicated server by HTTP Post. Also supports alarms via email or SNMP trap and supports XML/JSON and Modbus TCP data communication protocols.


1-Wire Sensors

Teracom has developed a range of 1-Wire sensors for temperature, humidity, AC and DC current, voltage with galvanic isolation, 4-20mA detectors, gas concentration etc.

1-Wire is a registered trademark of Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. It is designed to connect several sensors over a short wiring. The bus carries power and a single data wire. RFID controllers

Teracom has a range of stand alone RFID access controllers. They work with 125kHz, EM4102 compatible, tags. They incorporate the main parts of a access control system – reading antenna, microprocessor, output relay and serial output into a small compact unit. The access control decision is based on the status of approached tag. If the tag is valid (it is already programmed in the memory of the device) the relay is activated and it can switch an electric lock. Up to 500 tags can be stored in memory.
