The Industrial Serial Server SE5416A is a 16 port gateway for Ethernet (TCP/IP) and serial signal communications. It allows almost any serial RS422/485 device to be connected to a new or existing Ethernet network.
By encapsulating serial data and transporting it over Ethernet, SE5416A offers full-duplex and bi-directional data that is transmission transparent between the serial port and the Ethernet network.
Flexible configuration options enable this unit to be setup over Ethernet by Telnet, Web browser, Serial Console, or a downloadable Windows utility. Standard 19-inch rack-mount high metal housing with 24 to 48 VDC wide power input range, SE5416A is ideal for almost any industrial and manufacturing automation.
ATOP Virtual COM software provides existing Windows based application to access serial device by mapping the Virtual COM port to a remote serial server via Ethenet. Windows software works with XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10. TTYredirector software is downloadable from ATOP for 32 bit and 64 bit, x86 Linux.
In industrial and manufacturing automation fields, SE5416 is used as a field device to connect the Ethernet through TCP/IP protocol directly. It is also specially designed for conjunction with PLCs, HMIs, Barcode Scanners, Data Terminals, Electronic Kanbans, Shop Floor Control Systems, and Pick-to-Light Systems.

Faulty Goods and Warranty
Where such goods have been supplied we undertake to repair or replace them as quickly as possible.Prior to returning faulty items, please contact us with a description of the fault as one of our engineers might be able to assist you by resolving the issue over the phone.
A Warranty form must be filled out and returned with any goods.
Our standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise.

Warranty is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was caused by defective workmanship or materials and was not caused by or was not substantially contributed to by other factors beyond our control including incorrect installation, alterations or modifications of the product not recommended by the manufacturer.
Returns Policy
If you are dissatisfied with our goods you may return them within 14 days of the dispatch date. Contact us for an authorisation and we will refund your purchase less shipping costs and restocking fees. All returned goods MUST be in AS NEW condition including ALL PACKAGING and DOCUMENTATION / MANUALS etc.
Please note:
- The product returned will attract a 20% restocking fee.
- The customer must pay the delivery costs.
- Non standard, custom made or a specially manufactured or imported products are not returnable.
