UCBB Dual Port Breakout Board
Dual Port Breakout Board for 2 Parallel Ports or 2 ports on a compatible motion controller. One port has standard Parallel Port pinout while the second has pinout of an input type Parallel Port. The board has 18 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. All I/Os are optically isolated with fast 10Mbit/sec speed optocouplers. The outputs are capable of driving 1A at 24VDC. The inputs can be used with external switches and sensors.
The UCBB breakout board is compatible with the UC300ETH-5LPT motion controller. It is not compatible with the UC400ETH controller.
The UCBB is a dual port signal breakout board making the wiring and connections to 2 Parallel Ports or to 2 ports on a motion controller easy. One of the ports has standard Paralell Port pinout and the second port has pinout of an input type LPT port where the pins 2 to 9 are inputs instead of outputs.
The board has a total of 16 digital outputs and 18 digital inputs. All I/Os are optically isolated with fast 10Mbit/sec speed optocouplers. The outputs are capable to drive 24V voltage levels and upto 1Amps of current with integrated N-channel power mosfets. The inputs are also optically isolated with fast 10Mbit/sec speed optocouplers and are capable to interface with switches and sensors such as NPN, PNP, push-pull and line driver.
