Draw Wire Encoder - 6000mm, Quadrature Output
Linear draw-wire position transducer with 6000 mm nylon jacketed steel cable. NPN Quadrature ABZ output with 1 mm resolution.
This wire type encoder is designed for measuring lengths and distances of linear and near-linear movements. It uses a flexible nylon-jacked steel cable, spring-loaded spool and high precision optical encoder to give a measurement of cable extension in harsh environments.
The sensor provides a quadrature ABZ NPN open collector type output pulses with a resolution of 1 pulse per mm.
Draw wire sensors are also known in the industry as cable transducers, cable-extension transducers, string potentiometers, draw wire transducers, yo yo pots, linear position string pots, and string encoders.

What's not covered The warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by factors outside our control, including incorrect installation, unauthorised alterations or modifications, or any installation or use not recommended by the manufacturer.
