Akytec GE-24-Cloud Gateway
The GE-24-Cloud gateway facilitates a Modbus RS485 network connecting to the Akytec cloud platform via Ethernet.
The Akytec cloud with both free and subscription based services is suitable for remote monitoring and control of complex BMS systems. Contains functionality for Email alarms/notifications and live readings.
Key Features
- Modbus RS485 to Ethernet Connectivity: Connects devices using the Modbus RTU protocol via RS485 interface to the akYtec Cloud through Ethernet, supporting both akYtec products and third-party equipment.
- Remote Monitoring and Live Readings: Provides real-time access to device data with automatic updates (polling every 60 seconds or more), displayed in tables, graphs, trends, and custom mnemonic diagrams for up to 90 days of historical data.
- Remote Control Capabilities: Allows users to read, write, and verify device parameters remotely, including batch operations from templates for efficient management across multiple devices.
- Alarms and Notifications: Supports configurable alarms for device and facility events, with email notifications (up to 9 recipients) and Telegram bot integration for instant alerts on event starts and ends. Events are tracked with color-coded reports for easy oversight.
- User-Friendly Configuration: Setup via akYtec Tool Pro software over Micro-USB or Ethernet, including network settings, RS485 parameters, and cloud access restrictions.
- Compatibility and Security: Works with devices from the akYtec library, features galvanic isolation on RS485, and uses local port 25001 for secure cloud communication.

How to make a warranty claim Before returning anything, please contact us. Our engineers can often resolve the issue remotely. If a return is required, our team will provide you with a warranty form to include with the goods.
What's covered Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and correct installation.
What's not covered The warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by factors outside our control, including incorrect installation, unauthorised alterations or modifications, or any installation or use not recommended by the manufacturer.
