TSA202 Analog input module 1-wire interface
Teracom analog input module has two analog inputs and uses the 1-Wire protocol.
Description
Analog input module TSA202 is a dual-channel device utilizing the 1-Wire digital protocol. It offers a reliable and accurate solution for measuring a variety of analog signals in industrial and automation environments. The analog inputs are galvanically isolated from the communication interface, ensuring signal integrity and robust protection against electrical interference.
The TSA202 supports two selectable input modes: 0–20 mA current loop and 0–10 V voltage input. The extended 0–20 mA range allows not only the handling of standard 4–20 mA measurement signals but also the detection of special conditions such as sensor faults, calibration states, or other diagnostic outputs that may fall below the 4 mA threshold.
The input mode applies to both channels simultaneously.
The TSA202 is suitable for measuring both electrical and non-electrical parameters when paired with appropriate external sensors. The raw analog values—whether current (mA) or voltage (V)—can be easily converted into meaningful measurement units using an offset and multiplier defined in the master controller.
Features
- Functional isolation between the analog inputs and the 1-Wire interface for improved safety and signal integrity.
- LED indicator for communication status.
- Selectable input mode (0-10V or 0-20mA) configurable via the connector.
- Firmware updates via the 1-Wire interface.
