RK120-03-AAC Economical Ultrasonic Wind Speed & Direction Sensor is a full-digital detector with high precision . It simultaneously acquires ultrasonic wind speed and direction data . With a built in compass you do not have to worry about aligning the sensor to North. Built-in signal processing unit can output corresponding data on a RS485 Modbus RTU link. Designed with a high-strength compact structure and no moving parts, it can accurately detect wind in harsh environments. No moving parts results in less maintenance required. It consists of accurate & stable components and RS485 Modbus RTU outputs for both wind speed and direction. It is widely used in meteorology, oceanography, airports, ports, laboratories, industry and agriculture, transportation and other fields.
Acting as a Modbus RTU slave both wind speed and direction can easily be provided to a Modbus Master PLC or RTU or SCADA system.
Its high performance makes it ideal for all kind of security and control applications in roads, buildings, ski resorts, theme parks, etc.
