UniPi Neuron M503 is a universal control unit. It is a professional PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with enough features for automation of more extensive projects, fit for smart home automation, building management systems, energy monitoring, light industry automation or other commercial projects. It features digital inputs, transistor outputs, relay outputs and serial interface. This model has two RS485 serial interfaces and is also equipped with more analog inputs and outputs which allow output performance regulation and measuring from resistance sensors. It fewer inputs and outputs compared to model L503.

Analog interface wiring of models from series 500 is better compared to standard analog inputs and outputs of other control units. Analog outputs operate in voltage range 0-10 V (12bit resolution).

Analog inputs allow more precise measurement (they have higher bit resolution). AI allow 4 modes of measurement:

  • voltage measurement 0-10 V (16bit resolution)
  • voltage measurement 0-2.5 V (24bit resolution)
  • current measurement 0-20 mA (16bit resolution)
  • resistance measurement (from sensors PT100, PT1000, NTC) in three wire (three conductors, 0-100 Ω, 24bit resolution) or two wire (two conductors, 0-1960 Ω, 24bit resolution) wiring method.

Also it comes with a realtime clock, 1 GB RAM, Quad Core 1.2 GHz CPU, 4 × USB ports and 1 × Ethernet 10/100 Mbps port. 

Mervis is a software platform for control of UniPi programmable controllers. Together with EVOK it is our officially supported software platform. Compared to EVOK (which is rather a basic driver providing access to different interfaces) Mervis is a set of tools and applications for advanced regulation and automation. Mervis is developed and allows programming methods in accordance with IEC 61131-3. It is compatible with UniPi v1.1 and UniPi Neuron control units and their extensions. A license for Mervis comes free with the Neuron M503.

Faulty Goods and Warranty

Where such goods have been supplied we undertake to repair or replace them as quickly as possible.Prior to returning faulty items, please contact us with a description of the fault as one of our engineers might be able to assist you by resolving the issue over the phone.
A Warranty form must be filled out and returned with any goods.

Our standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise.

Warranty is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was caused by defective workmanship or materials and was not caused by or was not substantially contributed to by other factors beyond our control including incorrect installation, alterations or modifications of the product not recommended by the manufacturer.

Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied with our goods you may return them within 14 days of the dispatch date. Contact us for an authorisation and we will refund your purchase less shipping costs and restocking fees. All returned goods MUST be in AS NEW condition including ALL PACKAGING and DOCUMENTATION / MANUALS etc.

Please note:

  • The product returned will attract a 20% restocking fee.
  • The customer must pay the delivery costs.
  • Non standard, custom made or a specially manufactured or imported products are not returnable.
  • Semiconductors, books and software are not refundable
