Many manufacturers of light fittings use DALI as a control interface for their products. Neuron DALI enables the seamless integration of DALI fittings and fixtures into the smart lighting. The Neuron DALI includes four integrated DALI buses, each of which can control up to 64 devices. The DALI protocol is described by the IEC 62386-101:2014 (and other associated, through to 62386-106) standard.

Each device on the DALI network is assigned a short address, ranging from 0 to 63 (the maximum amount of connected devices for a single DALI bus is 64). That means you can control up to 256 DALI devices with one Neuron DALI. Devices can also have a group address ranging from 0 to 15, which can be used to send commands to a group of devices in tandem.

The Neuron Dali includes a simple interface package for the python-dali library, which is distributed with the device. It includes a set of example commands for querying connected devices and is available at our public Git repository. We hope to integrate DALI into our primary control software Mervis SDK in the future, providing there is sufficient customer interest.

  • 4 DALI channels: each of them can be connected to a galvanically separate DALI network, which can communicate in parallel, independent of each other.
  • 4 Digital inputs: for reading binary values (pulse counting from smart electrometers and water meters, signals from motion sensors, signals from digital light switches etc.).
  • 1 Analog input: for measuring output performance of a device or measuring of analog values.
  • 1 Analog output: for regulation of pump speed, light intensity or other analog parameters of connected devices.
  • 4 Digital outputs: for switching between the device states - switching lights on / off, turning the heating on / off, locking /unlocking doors, rolling shutters down / up, opening / closing the garage door.
  • 1-Wire bus: for connecting various sensors made for this bus such as thermometers, humidity sensors, light intensity sensors etc.
  • RS485 interface: universal interface included primarily for connecting third-party devices and Neuron extension modules.
  • Customizable LED indicators: - user can set his own indication of states and situations.

Faulty Goods and Warranty

Where such goods have been supplied we undertake to repair or replace them as quickly as possible.Prior to returning faulty items, please contact us with a description of the fault as one of our engineers might be able to assist you by resolving the issue over the phone.
A Warranty form must be filled out and returned with any goods.

Our standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise.

Warranty is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was caused by defective workmanship or materials and was not caused by or was not substantially contributed to by other factors beyond our control including incorrect installation, alterations or modifications of the product not recommended by the manufacturer.

Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied with our goods you may return them within 14 days of the dispatch date. Contact us for an authorisation and we will refund your purchase less shipping costs and restocking fees. All returned goods MUST be in AS NEW condition including ALL PACKAGING and DOCUMENTATION / MANUALS etc.

Please note:

  • The product returned will attract a 20% restocking fee.
  • The customer must pay the delivery costs.
  • Non standard, custom made or a specially manufactured or imported products are not returnable.
  • Semiconductors, books and software are not refundable
