AirGate-Modbus is a wireless multifunctional gateway that allows the transparent and easy insertion of wireless branches into existing wired RS-485 networks. The AirGate-Modbus has four operation modes, Modbus Master, multiplexer, USB-RS-485 converter and simple wireless RS-485 extension. A proprietary protocol based on IEEE 802.15.4 facilitates operation in Star mode, allowing the connection of several wireless segments to an existing Modbus RS-485 network.
AirGate Modbus is a gateway specially designed to create a network of wireless sensors. It can be used as a extender of Modbus RS485 network and offers flexibility and scalability for the various networks inside facilities.
This product stands out in several aspects. One of them is the long-range wireless communication reaching up to 1000 meters (3200 feet). Operating through own NOVUS-Air wireless network protocol (802.15.4), the AirGate Modbus is independent from the IT customer infrastructure.
The communication has secure data traffic, ensured by 128-bit encryption, and uses available frequency bands of less interference, providing stability and reliability in the communication link.
Easy installation and configuration combined with diagnostics through software make the AirGate-Modbus an outstanding product for field commissioning and the ideal solution for applications requiring flexibility, high performance and connectivity.

What's covered Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and correct installation.
What's not covered The warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by factors outside our control, including incorrect installation, unauthorised alterations or modifications, or any installation or use not recommended by the manufacturer.
