LJTick-Resistance 100K
The LJTick-Resistance (LJT-Rx) makes it easy for LabJack devices to measure resistive sensors.
A 4-pin signal conditioning module intended to plug into the standard AIN/AIN/GND/VS screw terminal block found on newer LabJack data acquisition modules such as U3, U6, UE9 and T7. The LJTick-Resistance (LJTRx) makes it easy for LabJack devices to measure resistive sensors. This tick gives users a regulated 2.5V signal that can be used as a excitation voltage and a known resistance value in series with a sensor input line. This gives users the ability to calculate the resistance of their connected sensor.
Uses precision 1k resistor in a resistor divider setup. The most common application is measuring resistive sensors like RTDs.
Screw Terminal Descriptions
Vref: A 2.5 volt reference voltage output. Internally this reference is used for level shifting, but very little current is used, leaving substantial current available to the user if a very accurate 2.5 volt reference is needed. The resistor Rx to be measured is connected between Vref and VINA or VINB.
GND: Same as LabJack ground (GND).
VINA/VINB: These are the LJTick-Resistance input terminals.
Use the following formula to calculate Rx
Vout =2.5 x 100K/(100K+Rx)
