The EM2RS-556 is a Modbus (RS485) control open loop stepper driver, able to power 2 phase stepper motors smoothly with very low motor heating & noise. It can provide up to 5.6 A, operating at 20-50 VDC.

EM2RS Series are stepper drive based on standard Modbus RTU protocol, using RS485 communication can network up to 31 axes. They built-in PR feature with 16-segment position table (PR Mode) can save additional controllers in most of point-to-point applications, to greatly enhance system reliability and reduce the cost. EM2RS Series also support the feature of teaching, the operation modes of Profile Position, Profile Velocity and Homing. EM2RS-556 can power 2-phase NEMA 17, 23, 24 stepper motors.

A Warranty form must be filled out and returned with any goods.

Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied with our goods you may return them within 14 days of the dispatch date. Contact us for an authorisation and we will refund your purchase less shipping costs and restocking fees. All returned goods MUST be in AS NEW condition including ALL PACKAGING and DOCUMENTATION / MANUALS etc.

  • The product returned will attract a 20% restocking fee.
  • The customer must pay the delivery costs.
  • Non standard, custom made or a specially manufactured or imported products are not returnable.
