The Universal Indicator N1040i combines, in one compact and convenient 1/16 DIN enclosure, a high precision microprocessor based analog circuit with a very simple configuration interface to monitor a wide range of analog variables.

With a intuitive interface to program range and decimal point through the keypad, the N1040i allows inexperienced instrumentation operators easy installation and start up for most processes.

The N1040i-RE Process indicator features 1 alarm relay, an auxiliary 24 VDC output for powering sensors and RS-485 communications for connecting to a PLC or PC.

Features:

  • Input adjustable offset allows small indication corrections
  • Configurable initial alarm blocking function doesn't "arm" alarm until the process has reached normal operating conditions
  • Flash alarm function alerts operator to condition while in alarm state
  • Sensor failure detection
  • Password for meter protection
  • RS-485 and Modbus RTU communication for connection to a PLC, data acquisition system or PC
  • Factory calibration parameters recovery
