DMA882S-IO, 8.2 A, Speed adjustable Stepper Driver

DMA882S-IO, 8.2 A, Speed adjustable Stepper Driver

SKU: SMC-014S

The DMA882S-IO is an open loop digital stepper drive. It is designed to run at set speeds using a Run signal and Direction Signal. Speed is adjusted by DIP switches Operating voltage of 20-80VAC or 30-110VDC and it can output up to 8.2A current making it suitable for NEMA 23, 24, 34 and 42 stepper motors

The DMA882S-IO featured in supporting DIP switches for speed controls and 5-24VDC for starting motor running. Like other DM series drives, it brings a unique level of system smoothness, providing optimum torque and nulls mid-range instability. The self-test and auto-configuration technology offers optimum responses with different motors and easy-to-use. The driven motors can run with much smaller noise, lower heating, smoother movement than most of the drivers on the markets. Its unique features make the DMA882S-IO an ideal solution for applications that require low-speed smoothness.

In addition to the output current and speed values set by DIP switches, when SW1, SW2 and SW3 are all set to “on”, the output current can be set through ProTuner, and when SW5, SW6, SW7 and SW8 are all set to “on”, the motor speed can be set through ProTuner.

Features:

  • Extra-low motor noise offers excellent quietness
  • Output current set by SW1, SW2 and SW3
  • Motor speed set by SW5, SW6, SW7 and SW8
  • Internal step generator for no motion controller system, external 5 - 24VDC to start running motor
  • Supply voltage 30-110 VDC or 20-80VAC
  • Fault output
  • Automatic idle-current reduction

Applications:

The drive is suitable for a wide range of stepping motors, from NEMA frame size 23 to 42. It can be used where you want to run the motor at adjustable speeds in two directions.
